According to this newsletter, which was published on Wednesday, Sepambar 13, the Taliban group’s representatives told the merchants of Bamyan province that wearing thin and clingy clothes is against the country’s Sharia and culture, and henceforth they should not enter them into the market.
The Ministry of Promoting Virtue and Preventing Evil said that wearing thin, short, and clingy clothes is part of western culture and has warned that the citizens of Bamyan province can no longer use these types of clothes. It is worth mentioning that during the two years of Taliban rule, many restrictions have been applied against women, girls, and Afghanistani citizens.
