VOC News: In the continuation of their protests about the handling of their cases, a group of Hazara asylum seekers demonstrated in front of the provincial council office in Madan, Indonesia.
Sources from Indonesia sent a video clip to VOC News on Tuesday, September 19, and told VOC News that a group of Hazara asylum seekers protested in front of the provincial council of Madan, Indonesia, and demanded that their cases be handled by the government of Indonesia.
Besides, it was reported that Hazara asylum seekers also protested in Pekanbaru and demanded the same request.
Based on the reports of human rights organisations and institutions, there are more than six thousand asylum seekers in Indonesia, of whom 16 committed suicide because of the mental pressures caused by the failure to handle their cases.
