Qari Saeed Khosti and Rape in Taliban Intelligence Prison

My sister Sodaba and I transferred Elaha to the 102-bed hospital, and someone there had recorded a video of Elaha and sent it to the news media. A week later, Mawlawi Manan, with Sirajuddin Haqqani’s chief advisor, Mawlawi Abdurrahim Saqib, and another person who identified himself as Nasir and a former employee of the Republic system, forcibly entered our house. In addition to threatening us a lot, Maulvi Manan also said some things: “I lived in the same house with Sirajuddin Haqqani for 14 years, and he was such a self-deprecation and pious person who had the character of a prophet. Even my family did not know that the person who lived on the upper floor of our house was Sirajuddin, the son of Jalaluddin Haqqani.
So, from his words and other behaviors, it was clear that Mawlawi Manan’s relationship with Sirajuddin Haqqani was very close and familial. After Mawlawi Manan, Mawlawi Isa, and Mawlawi Musa were informed about Qari Saeed Khosti’s rape on Elaha in prison, they gathered together with some other Mawlawi who were senior members of the Haqqani network and went to Sirajuddin Haqqani.
With the efforts and strong advice of Mawlawi Manan to Sirajuddin Haqqani, all the people close to Sirajuddin Haqqani decided that they should marry Elaha to Saeed Khosti so that the issue of sexual rape of Qari Saeed Khosti would not be revealed. Because it causes discredit to the Taliban regime. Then they decided that a guarantee should be obtained from Elaha to keep silent about the rape of Qari Saeed Khosti and not tell anyone about this matter.
Mawlawi Manan, Mawlawi Musa, and Mawlawi Isa, who were directly aware of Qari Saeed Khosti’s sexual assault on Elaha, asked Saeed Khosti to the Taliban Intelligence Department. After being tortured and beaten once again by the women of the Taliban intelligence, Elaha was taken in front of all the Mawlawis, and one of these mawlawis finally recited the marriage prayer and married Elaha against her will to Qari Saeed Khosti. In addition, they had also recorded some forced videos of Elaha.
After Elaha hit Saeed Khosti with a shovel inside our house, Qari Saeed Khosti assaulted Elaha with a Kalashnikov shaft. After we took Elaha to the hospital, a week later, Mawlawi Manan and Mawlawi Abdurrahim Saqib, the second highest ranking person in the Ministry of Interior of the Taliban, with three other people, forcibly entered our house. Besides, Qari Saeed Khosti has fought in the way of God.
We understand that this is Qari Saeed Khosti’s fault, but now he has married you, and the conversation is over. Now Elaha has to live with Saeed Khosti. Mawlawi Manan continued, saying, “Mawlawi Musa is also unhappy with Qari Saeed Khosti regarding this issue, and he dislikes Saeed Khosti for this.”
The issue was that the first official of the Haqqani network, Mawlawi Musa, had punished some other Mawlawis because they had allowed Qari Saeed Khosti to enter Elaha’s room alone in prison, which had caused Qari Saeed Khosti to assault Elaha sexually; Because some of the clerics who are members of the Haqqani network did not have a good relationship with Qari Saeed Khosti. Not because he raped Elaha but because they themselves were punished by Sirajuddin Haqqani and Mawlawi Abdul Rahim Saqib for allowing Qari Saeed Khosti to enter Elaha’s prison cell.
Therefore, at the behest of Sirajuddin Haqqani and the clerics of the Haqqani network, Elaha was married to Qari Saeed Khosti by force and torture without her will and consent. The Taliban group and the Haqqani network were afraid that the public would not be aware of the rape of Qari Saeed Khosti on Elaha. Nevertheless, the Taliban were ready to torture and even kill MS Elaha and support the criminal and aggressor Saeed Khosti with all their strength.
The bruised head, face, and body of Elaha, who were all tortured, beaten, and raped by Qari Saeed Khosti in prison, were the evidence of all the cruelty and tyranny against a girl. After the rape of Qari Saeed Khosti, when the Taliban brought Elaha home, the physical effects, fear, and worry were bubbling in Elaha’s heart.
When we discovered this issue, my sister Sodaba and I were furious and confused. I remember when I came to another room with Sodaba. From the intensity of shouting mixed with anger and sadness that was never in my control, I hit the small electric heater in the corner of the house on the wall from the intensity of anger. The anger and sadness was unbearable. Sodaba was also very upset. Anger is only quenched, but anger with hatred is fire. We were just swallowing hatred; I know that hatred had a bitter taste; the bitterness of that hatred burns the palate, its heat burns the heart. I felt like my head was on fire and my brain would explode.
A few minutes after my noise, I said to Sodaba, “Get up Sodaba!” Let’s go together and file a complaint against Haqqani Network and Qari Saeed Khosti. While I was still holding my Chadar_Scarf in my hand, I said to myself after my question:
Where to complain?
To whom?
Who should we complain to?
Our blood was boiling very much. An immense and strange anger had happened to us.
Who did we complain to?
The government and everything were in the hands of the Taliban; This meant complaining about the “Fox’s Tail to the Fox Itself.” We didn’t go to any office for a complaint. We knew well that if we left, the Taliban would also imprison us.
