United Nations experts have asked the International Criminal Court to examine the restrictions imposed by the Taliban from the perspective of crimes against humanity.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that this issue was raised by UN experts on Monday, May 29.
The report states that the Taliban have imposed the most severe restrictions against Afghanistani women in the last two years. According to these experts, the Taliban have committed anti-human behaviour and must be stopped.
This request is raised while the Taliban have repeatedly violated human rights and acted against international standards.
