In its new decree, the Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban has asked all writers, researchers, students, and university professors to refrain from using foreign words and terms.
This educational institution has added that the persian words Danishjo(student), Danishgah(university), Danishkada(faculty) etc, are the foreign words. and university students and professors should not use them.
It is also stated in this decree that Afghanistan culture has its own terms and words. Therefore, Persian and Pashto speakers are required to behave according to the culture, custom and tradition of their country.
This decree is issued when the Taliban had previously announced decrees against the Persian language. And they had officially removed the university plaques which has written in persian.
