The Independent Human Rights Commission of Afghanistan in reaction to the ban on the activities of educational organizations by the Taliban administration, says that this restriction is against human rights and asks the Taliban leaders to halt such illogical and cruel approaches.
This shocking decision has hindered the activities of UNICEF and dozens of other organizations in the education sector and has deprived hundreds of thousands of Afghan children from the educational support of these institutions.
This commission has sought the international community, particularly the governments and influential institutions, to use effective methods forcing the de facto Taliban administration to reconsider this ruling against human rights.
Also, the commission has requested the UN Human Rights Council to seriously deal with this anti-human and cruel issue in its 53rd session in June of this year, holding in Geneva.
This comes as the Taliban has ordered the organizations that have educational activities to stop their work, and this restriction faced serious reactions.
