Mullah Abdulhaq Akhund, the Deputy Director of Narcotics Department of the Taliban Ministry of Interior, met with several Muslim clerics of Denmark, Norway and Germany on Saturday, June 10.
During his visit, he said that Afghanistan, as a Muslim country, has nation-wide security and no one is threatened by any group.
Mr. Akhund added that the Taliban group believes in education, learning science and is trying to build up more schools for Afghan children.
He also emphasized that cultivation of drugs has reached its minimum in the last two years, attempting to reduce it to zero.
This comes as the United Nations has expressed concern over the current situation in its recent report, saying that Afghanistan is currently on the path of extremism, fundamentalism, drug trafficking and sending suicide bombers to the countries of the region and the world, putting Afghanistan’s future to the great danger.
