On Thursday, June 15, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told reporters that Russia threatens Australia’s national security. He called the proximity of the Russian embassy to the Australian House of Representatives threatening and said that the new Russian embassy should be blocked.
Mr. Albanese added that Russia is an aggressor country and the world should stand against its aggression and aggressive behavior
Australia is one of the countries that has firmly stood by Ukraine in the last two years and defends Ukraine’s position. So far, he has handed over dozens of different types of weapons to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and has financed and equipped Ukraine militarily.
Mr. Albanese did not explain the nature of the threat and the manner of the threat to the journalists, but he said that the Australian federal system is serious about this issue and should not neglect it for a second.
