According to a report published by the Independent Persian, a man in Samangan who wanted to complain to Haqqani ( the Taliban’s Interior Minister) about the harassment of the Taliban commanders was caught and shot.
Sources added that, he was shot last week ( Tuesday, June 13) by Qari Mu’awiyah, one of the Taliban commanders in Roy-Doab district.
According to reports, Jamaluddin, a 32-year-old farmer from Samangan province’s Roy-Doab district, was not involved in any military activity.
The sources clarified that Jamaluddin wanted to participate in the meeting, held by Haqqani to meet the people of Samangan, and complain about the harassment of the commanders of this group. However, before Jamaluddin entered Haqqani’s meeting, he was arrested by the inteligence of this group, and shot dead after being tortured.
According to the sources, this group harassed Jamaluddin on the charge of hiding weapons and military equipment and also dug up a part of his house.
According to the sources of Independent Persian, in a report sent by the command of the Taliban police group in Roy-Doab district to the ministry of this group, it was confirmed that Jamaluddin was killed by Taliban members, and the perpetrators of the murder were named as “friends of Qari Mu’awiya”.
Meanwhile, sources said that Qari Mu’awiyah shot Jamaluddin.
