Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, said in his meeting with Mr. Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s ambassador to Afghanistan, that there is an opportunity for investment under the umbrella of the Taliban government.
He requested that all domestic and foreign businessmen invest in Afghanistan. Mr. Karzai considered the security conditions favourable and said that Afghanistan has never been so ready for investment as it is today.
These words of Mr. Karzai were said while the Defence Ministers of Russia and India said at the India meeting not long ago that Afghanistan is one of the most insecure countries in the world. They also added that there is a possibility of suicide bombers and explosives being exported from Afghanistan to other parts of the world.
