Kamal Nasser Usoli, a former member of Afghanistan’s parliament, wrote on his Twitter page today (Sunday, June 25) that 70% of the people of Afghanistan are Pashtuns. He added that this is the truth and should be accepted.
Mr. Usoli has asked everyone to become “Afghan” and stop plotting and madness.
In addition to Mr. Usoli’s tweet, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban, also said in an interview with Amu TV that most of the people of Afghanistan are Pashtuns.
Furthermore, the Taliban’s policy is Pashtun-oriented, and the same individuals who developed its guiding principles and framework were cited by the UN Security Council in its report.
