Taliban officials confirmed that those Afghanistani citizens who are in Pakistan and do not have passports are allowed to travel to Afghanistan without passports.
According to the Taliban’s news agency, Bakhtar News Agency, since Saturday, June 24, this order has been applicable.
Ismatullah Yaqub, commissioner of Torkham crossing, said that after speaking with Pakistani officials, they have been convinced that Afghanistani citizens can travel to Afghanistan without passports and spend Eid al-Adha together with their families.
He has not yet provided specific and more detailed information in this case.
This is while Afghanistani immigrants in Pakistan are facing various challenges. as recently, Pakistani police arrested Afghanistani immigrants every day and sent hundreds of immigrant families back to Afghanistan by force while humilating and insulting them.
