The Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), in response to the order of the Taliban leader in connection with the closure of women’s hairdressing salons, asked the facto authorities to stop the new order to close hairdressing salons.
UNAMA tweeted yesterday (Tuesday, July 4) that the Taliban should stop this new restriction because this order has negative effects on the economy and is against supporting women’s entrepreneurship.
UNAMA added that this decision by the Taliban contradicts the declaration of support for women’s entrepreneurship.
This was tweeted after the leader of the Taliban, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, issued an order to close women’s hairdressing salons, and in this order it is stated that the documents and contracts of women’s hairdressing salons have validity until July 25, after which they will not be valid.
