Maulawi Abdul Kabir, the chief minister of the Taliban, said yesterday (Wednesday, July 5), in a meeting with the elders and nobles of the nomads, that the nomads played a key role in the victory of the Taliban and have always supported the Taliban.
He added that, due to their good and selfless activities, the Kochis were able to bring the Taliban to power and defend Islamic Sharia properly.
According to Mr. Abdul Kabir’s remarks, the Kochis deserve to be rewarded, and the Taliban should compensate for their services and provide a better life for them.
Reliable local sources in Takhar province said that about 300 Kochis have resettled with their herds in Khaja Bahauddin city of this province, threatening the local residents to move out, saying you no longer have the right to live here and you must go wherever you want.
