Abdul Latif Nazari, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Taliban, said that when the Taliban came, the people of Afghanistan did not stand with the political leaders of the previous government because of corruption.
Nazari added that the previous leaders and politicians all thought of themselves and their families; each of them even betrayed their own people.
Abdul Latif Nazari is the only Hazara member of the Taliban cabinet who has been appointed as the professional deputy of the Ministry of Economy based on the decree of Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada.
The majority of members of this group are Pashtuns, and they use some non-Pashtun faces in a symbolic way.
Hazaras are being systematically genocided by the Taliban. With the support of the Taliban, the nomads are destroying people’s crops and farms in Hazaristan. But this group is trying to make their government inclusive by attracting some people.
