The Purple Saturdays Movement condemned the Taliban terrorist attack on Muharram mourners in Ghazni by publishing a statement on July 29.
The Purple Saturday Movement has written that by condemning the restrictions imposed on Ashura’s mourning ceremony, it considers religious freedom as the first human right and cultural and religious diversity as the main capital of the country.
The Purple Saturdays movement believes that with the re-establishment of the Taliban group, all the citizens of the country suffered and were deprived of all their social and political rights and freedoms.
In this declaration, it is stated that the Taliban group, by imposing severe restrictions on religious minorities, not only caused the destruction of religious and religious diversity in the country but also faced the country with a serious risk of religious war.
This movement expressed concern about the shooting by the Taliban on the mourners and said: “Shooting on the mourners in Ghazni province, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of citizens, including women and children, is a cause of great concern to us.”
In this declaration, they addressed the world as responsible and added that they believe that the international community and international organisations are responsible for Afghanistan as a member of the United Nations, so that they are not silent against the inhuman and humanitarian acts of the Taliban and in line with the achievements of the Afghanistani people. Stand shoulder to shoulder with their human rights and freedoms.
