The Purple Saturday movement has held protests in enclosed places in Ghazni, Takhar, and Balkh provinces on Monday (July 31) and has announced that interacting with the Taliban group is like recognising this group and believes that this group will never be able to deal with the people of Afghanistan or the international community.
In this statement, this movement has asked the international community to take action to protect the foreign exchange reserves of Afghanistan, which are the national capital of this country and the people of Afghanistan, and not to give them to the Taliban group. It has also demanded that the international community, instead of supporting this “mono-ethnic and mono-gender” group, support the people of Afghanistan so that they can provide a foundation for the formation of a democratic and popular government based on the citizens’s vote.
Finally, the Purple Saturdays movement has asked countries like Qatar and its supporters to refrain from whitewashing the Taliban group and lobbying for them at the international level and not to interfere in the affairs of Afghanistan by siding with the Taliban.
