The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Taliban and his accompanying delegation discussed the lifting of sanctions in a meeting with the American representatives in Doha.
A delegation of 15 members of the Taliban group, in a meeting with the special representatives of the United States, requested that they remove some officials of the Taliban group from the international sanctions.
The spokesman of the Taliban’s foreign ministry, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, stated in a tweet that the delegation of the Taliban group discussed the release of Afghanistan’s foreign currency reserves and the removal of some of the group’s leaders from the US blacklist in a meeting with the US special representatives.
The Taliban met with the United States in Qatar, and the spokesman of this group, Zabihullah Mujahid, blamed the United States for all the problems in Afghanistan several times in his speeches.
