The Women’s Movement for Freedom and Peace has said in connection with the recent meeting of political representatives of the United States with the Taliban group in Doha that the dialogue between the United States and the Taliban took place unilaterally and without the presence of the Afghan people.
This movement added that the Doha agreement led to the return of the Taliban, and this was a strategic mistake. A mistake for which Afghanistani women and girls have paid the price.
Also, the Women’s Movement for Freedom and Peace condemned the recent statement of Miss. Amiri and considered it against the interests of women and the people of Afghanistan. It also said that in the last two years, women have raised the flag of litigation and defence of women’s civil and political rights and freedoms despite the fact that they were systematically repressed by the Taliban and made many sacrifices.
In the end, this movement said that any interaction with the Taliban group is an injustice to the women and people of Afghanistan.
