Local sources from Badakhshan province said that one of the former security forces died under the torture of the Taliban.
The sources added that the Taliban arrested one of the local police forces of the previous government, named Fereydoun, in Jarem, a city in Badakhshan province, not long ago.
Fereydoun’s relatives said that his kidneys failed as a result of torture, and he died.
The Taliban group handed over his lifeless body to his family on the morning of Sunday, August 6.
The killing, arresting, and torturing of former security forces by the Taliban group is still going on, and the leaders of this group have not fulfilled what they said, which was a general amnesty.
