UNESCO, or the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation, published a report on Monday (August 7) and wrote that around 118.5 million girls around the world are missing out on education.
In this report, it is stated that only two-thirds of the 771 million young people in the world are women, who in a number of countries do not even have basic literacy skills.
However, this organisation did not specify in its report which countries are in the first ranks of this statistic.
This is despite the fact that with the re-establishment of the Taliban in Afghanistan, women and girls in this country were deprived of the right to education, and women in Afghanistan are not even allowed to work or travel without Mahram.
