According to reports, the Taliban arrested three journalists on Sunday (August 13) in Kandahar.
Sources said that the Taliban arrested Ataullah Omar, a reporter for TOLOnews; Wahid al-Rahman of Afghan Mel; and Shamsullah Omari, an independent journalist, yesterday in Kandahar.
Sources added that Afghan Mel Sham was released today (August 14). But there is no information about the fate of the other two reporters.
Meanwhile, the Taliban arrested a teacher from west of Kabul.
