The Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA) has issued new guidelines for flights entering Pakistan’s airspace from Afghanistan.
According to Pakistani media reports, the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan has established new procedures for flights entering Pakistan’s airspace from Afghanistan.
According to these new approvals from the organisation, flights originating from Afghanistan must notify their arrival at least 15 minutes before entering Pakistan’s airspace.
The organisation has issued a NOTAM, or Notice to Aviation, outlining the new regulations and requesting that all airlines and control centres implement these new instructions.
It should be noted that these instructions are applicable until the end of November this year.
The spokesperson of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has stated that the purpose of these measures is to increase the safety and effectiveness of air travel in the region.
It should be noted that the government of Pakistan had previously expressed concern about the threats from Afghanistan.
