Based on reports from local sources, the Taliban have killed a former military officer in Kandahar.
The Taliban arrested Khalil Ahmad Akhlaqi, son of former military officer Dustom Khan, from Area 10 of Kandahar and then killed him, local sources reported.
They added that the Taliban arrested him on Monday, September 18, and then his body was found on the 6th road of Ainu Mina while the marks of torture were seen on his body.
This is while international organisations have accused the Taliban of killing and assassinating former soldiers and demanded this group commit to their amnesty, which they announced when they returned to power.
