Turkish media has reported that so far in the Turkish presidential election, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the current president and leader of the Justice and Development Party, has been leading the election. According to the statistics announced by Yener, Erdoğan is leading the election by getting 49.49%. Yener says that Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the candidate of the opposition parties, is also in second place with 44.79 percent of the votes. According to the latest statistics announced by the Supreme Election Council of Turkey, the candidates have not received enough votes to win the presidential seat of Turkey.
