Turkmenistan Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that three female doctors has been sent to Afghanistan to treat women and girls.
Turkmenistan has said that this action was a humanitarian act and there is no other intention involved.
Turkmenistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that these three female doctors have started working at the Turghundi maternity hospital in Herat and their goal is to provide necessary services to Afghanistani women.
Since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, there is a shortage of specialist forces and necessary medicines.
