Local sources from Balkh say that two days ago (Monday, May 15, 2023) Mosavar Saboor, the head of a private hospital in Balkh, was arrested by Taliban intelligence and taken to prison.
Sources add that he was arrested by Taliban intelligence two days ago from his workplace in the second district of Mazar-i-Sharif.
According to sources, Mr. Saboor is the son of a former Jihadi general and worked in the private hospital, “Hayat Balkh-India”. The reason for Mr. Saboor’s arrest is not yet clear.
