Mutiullah Wisa’s family says that the Taliban do not allow them to see Mr. Wisa. They called the Taliban’s behaviour against human values and said that the Taliban should not do such inhumane behaviour with us.
Attaullah Wisa, Mutiullah Wisa’s brother, says that the Taliban not only prevented him from seeing Mr. Wisa, but also did not allow their family to hire a lawyer for his brother.
These talks take place when Mutiullah Wisa, the founder of “Rahi Qalam” and an activist for the education right, was previously arrested and imprisoned by Taliban forces.
The arrest of Mr. Visa caused strong domestic and international reactions. In connection with the arrest of Matiullah Wisa, UNAMA wrote that the Taliban should release him as soon as possible. Also, Hadja Lahbib, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, in response to the arrest of Mutiullah Wisa said, that this behaviour of the Taliban is unacceptable, and he should be released immediately.
After the fall of the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mutiullah Wisa established an institution called “Rahi Qalam”, he wanted to help girls to benefit from literacy.
