Sources add, Mahmoud was an ordinary person who had a shop in the city centre and had no personal enmity with anyone.
In addition, the sources say that the Taliban had extorted money from him many times under different pretexts. He was even threatened with death several times for not paying them.
The sources state that the Taliban shot him and fled from the area.
Mahmoud Rahimi was married and had two children.
So far, Taliban officials have not commented on this matter.
