Today, Thursday, May 25, Maulvi Abdul Kabir, acting head of the Taliban’s vice-ministers, in a meeting with the group’s cabinet members at Sepidar Palace said: “The Islamic Emirate is inclusive and people from all ethnic groups work in offices and departments.”
In this meeting, he said about criticising the Taliban: correct criticism is good, and we support it. If the meaning of inclusiveness is that all ethnicities are present in the provinces and administrations, then all ethnicities are already present in our administrations. But if the meaning of inclusiveness is to include corrupt persons and foreign slaves, it is not acceptable for us.
Amir Khan Mottaqi, the foreign minister of this group, was also one of the other speakers of this meeting.
In a part of his speech, he stated that they prefer this unrecognised government to the previous government.
He added that their representation is active in some Asian countries, and they have commercial and political relations with them. He also added: “all our ports are open and if they are closed, we will open them as soon as possible.”
This meeting was held at the invitation of Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the acting head of the Taliban.
