The Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC) has reacted in a statement on Sunday, June 11, to the expulsion of refugees from Pakistan, considering it a disaster.
According to the reports, the commission said that the Pakistani police detain and deport Afghanistan refugees from various cities in this country.
Furthermore, the AIHRC stated that the deportation of wandering asylum seekers was a “tragedy event” and that the lives of numerous individuals, including human rights activists, protesting women, prosecutors, defence lawyers, soldiers and employees of the previous government, media activists, artists, dissidents, and political activists, are gravely in danger.
The announcement states that the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission requests the government of Pakistan refrain from deporting refugees who are victims of war.
The commission calls upon the international organisations, the human rights organisations of Pakistan
, and the UN human rights rapporteur for Afghanistan to support refugees and migrants.
