According to local sources in Panjshir, the Taliban have detained Shokrullah Panjshiri and his father.
The sources added that the Taliban arrested Mr. Panjshiri on Wednesday, June 14, without any reason and transferred him to an unknown location.
This is in addition to the Taliban arresting 15 people, including the old men, and transporting them to an unknown place over the last week.
Despite several phone attempts, VOC News was unable to obtain the Taliban security commander in Panjshir’s opinion on the situation.
