By sending a video to the media, the Purple Saturdays Protest Movement said, “Our call is right, and the place of Talib is hell.”
This protest took place because of the Oslo meeting.
According to the members of this movement, the situation of Afghansitani women is dire, and the whitewashing of the Taliban by western countries is against the principles of human and international rights.
By sending several videos in which three of its members and activists were present, this movement explained what responsibility the people of Afghanistan have regarding the situation when schools remain closed and women and girls are banned from education and work. They stated that the people of Afghanistan must stand against the Taliban and defend their rights.
They said, “Afghanistani women have been stuck at home for two years now, and we are tired of the false promises of the international community and the United Nations.”
Meanwhile, the Oslo meeting, to which the Taliban representatives were also invited, ended yesterday. The purpose of organising such a meeting was to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.
