Sources from Daikundi province told VOC News that the Taliban arrested two former military personnel and two civilians in this province.
The sources said that it has been a week since the Taliban arrested Sabru Rezaei, a former recruiter at the Daikundi police headquarters, and her two sisters, Shukria Rezaei and Sabera Rezaei, as well as Rahmatullah, the former traffic director of the province.
Sources added that Shukria Rezaei and Sabera Rezaei did not and do not have any history of political or social activity, and they are 18 and 19, respectively.
The sources confirmed that the Taliban’s Intelligence Department is in search of the former female police officers, and they arrest them with any excuse and torture; the situation of the former police officers in Daikundi is critical and dire.
Reports indicate that the Taliban are looking for former soldiers in Daikundi and have asked various security, police, and army departments to provide a list of former military personnel to the intelligence department of this province.
