The US special inspector for Afghanistan, Sigar, reacts to the recent statements of Taliban officials in a series of tweets.
Sigar wrote that the Taliban claim that there is no terrorist group in Afghanistan that can be considered a threat to other countries.
Sigar added that according to reports, after the Taliban took control, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its affiliated groups got the courage to use Afghanistan as a base of operations against Pakistan.
Sigar states that this action by the Taliban group is against one of the main provisions of the 2020 Doha Agreement.
This is despite the fact that Sigar wrote in a report that after the domination of the Taliban in Afghanistan, the movements of terrorist groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda have increased in Afghanistan. But the Taliban group considers these reports propaganda.
