The Women’s Unity and Solidarity protest movement, with the release of a video on Tuesday, June 20, in continuation of the protests against the Taliban, asked the international community not to recognise the Taliban.
By publishing a protest video with the slogan “No to the meetings of traders, No to the oppressive Taliban”, this movement asked the international community not to recognise the Taliban.
This protest took place while, on Monday, June 19, the UN Human Rights Council held a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, on the issue of Afghanistan. The participants in this meeting declared their support for Afghan women.
