According to a report from local sources, on Wednesday, June 21, a commercial market called Koche Al-Qalan in Nangarhar province caught fire.
Sources added that, half an hour after the fire, the fire brigade did not arrive at the scene. Shopkeepers were trying to get their goods out of the market.
This was the third fire that has occurred in markets or large markets in a week. In the most recent case, on June 19, there was a fire in the market of Balkhab city, Sarpol province, in which about 15 million Afghanis were damaged.
