The documents that have been made available to the media show that the leader of the Taliban has ordered the group’s cabinet to close Facebook in Afghanistan.
In the order of the Taliban leader, it is stated that this plan should be prepared and examined by the Supreme Court in coordination with the relevant departments and presented to the cabinet.
This order was issued in an official letter of the Taliban Affairs Department of the Supreme Court of this group, which was issued with the ruling number (4018) equal to 28 Joza 1402.
Based on this letter, the Taliban Affairs Department informed the authorities, adding that the respective departments should prepare a plan to close Facebook and submit it to this department.
This is while Meta Company, the owner of Facebook, is collecting information and examining the plan to close the accounts of members of the Taliban group on the WhatsApp social network.
