Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban, said that on Wednesday (July 19), Asif Durrani, Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan affairs, met with Amir Khan Muttaqi.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during this meeting, Asif Durrani emphasised that efforts should be made to strengthen relations between the two countries and asked the Taliban to assure Islamabad that no danger will threaten Pakistan from Afghanistan.
At the same time, Muttaqi emphasised the growth of the economy and trade between the two countries.
Meanwhile, as a result of the explosion of a bomb in a police security post in Peshawar, Pakistan, two security forces have been killed and two others have been injured. In their statements, the Pakistani authorities have accused the Taliban of sheltering TTP members.
