Rina Amiri, the US special representative for women and human rights in Afghanistan, said that she supports the right of Afghanistani girls to participate in konkur (the entrance exam).
Amiri wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday (July 19): “I support the desire of Afghanistani girls to participate in the konkur exam.”
She also added, I ask the Taliban to prioritise the country and the people over their ideology.
These words of Amiri come while the public entrance exam is scheduled to be held in eleven provinces of the country on Thursday (July 20). But the Taliban did not allow the girls to participate in the entrance exam this year.
