The Centre for the Study of Violence and Humanitarian Services will organise a closed meeting titled “Afghan Women’s Discourse” on July 24-26, 2023, in Doha, Qatar.
According to the organisers of this meeting, the goal of organising this conversation was to convey the experiences of Afghanistani women about the current situation in this country, which is hidden from global media.
According to this institution, the voice of Afghanistani women is underrepresented in worldwide narratives, and they are attempting to develop a group of engaged women who can represent the country by assessing current requirements and finding fields and possibilities for participation in social concerns.
There have been claims that this gathering aims to glorify the Taliban and hide the truth regarding the present state of affairs in Afghanistan.
It is expected that six Afghan women will attend this gathering, with some invited from outside.
