Local sources from Jawzjan province said that the Taliban group shot a civilian along with his teenage son in front of his family.
The sources added that the Taliban shot a civilian named Hafizullah, who was a resident of Jawzjan province, three times in the head in front of his family and injured his teenage son.
A week ago, the Taliban asked Hafizullah to bring his brother to Afghanistan. His brother was working for a foreign organisation in Jawzjan and fled to Pakistan after the Taliban came to power.
The sources stated that his brother refused to come from Pakistan, and finally, on Tuesday (July 25) at five o’clock in the morning, the Taliban attacked Hafizullah’s house and shot him three times in front of his wife’s eyes and wounded his son.
The Taliban did not hand over his body to his family because they said that his head was cut into pieces and they were not allowed to see him.
