The German Foreign Ministry has published a newsletter saying that the country’s foreign minister, Annala Baerbok, has assured that her country will defend the human rights of the Afghanistani people in a meeting with Richard Bennett, the UN special rapporteur on human rights affairs in Afghanistan.
In this newsletter, it is stated that the foreign minister of Germany expressed concern about the deplorable state of human rights, especially the state of women’s rights in Afghanistan, and asked human rights organisations to pay serious attention to the situation of the Afghanistani people.
These statements of the German Foreign Minister were made while he had previously accused some human rights activists in this country of neglecting his promises to the people of Afghanistan.
