The Iranian Embassy in Kabul tweeted that visas for the Arbaeen ceremony, where pilgrims enter Iraq through Iran, are issued only through pilgrimage companies.
This embassy has written: “It is brought to the notice of Arbaeen visa applicants that it will be possible to issue double entry Arbaeen visas only through valid pilgrimage companies whose permits have been approved by the Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan. »
This embassy has also emphasised that pilgrimage companies that have obtained Iraqi visas for their visitors can go to the consular section of the Iranian embassy starting Saturday (August 26).
The Arbaeen ceremony is one of the Shiite religious ceremonies in which pilgrims from all over the world go to Karbala and celebrate this ceremony there.
