The World Health Organization has warned that the current budget cuts for Afghanistan will have very bad consequences.
According to the latest post published by the World Health Organization today (August 28) on the X social network, 24 mothers and 167 babies die every day due to preventable causes.
While expressing concern about the current health situation in Afghanistan, this organisation warned that this statistic, which is based on 2021 estimates, will increase dramatically if funding continues to decrease.
Other international organisations, such as the Red Cross, had previously warned about the reduction of humanitarian aid and its consequences for the people of Afghanistan.
