Some members of the women’s movement towards freedom said that the international community should recognise gender apartheid in Afghanistan.
A number of members of the women’s movement towards freedom in Kabul launched a protest programme on Sunday, September 3, and asked the world to recognise gender apartheid in Afghanistan and prevent systematic and targeted killings of women in Afghanistan.
These protesting women said that the world should not support the Taliban’s crimes and should not recognise the Taliban.
The women’s movement towards freedom is one of the protest movements that started after the Taliban came to power.
