Anwar Kakar, the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, has stated that equipment left by the United States in Afghanistan is being used against Pakistan.
In a conversation with Geo News on Tuesday, September 4, Anwar Kakar mentioned that the military equipment, ammunition, and other supplies left behind by American forces upon their withdrawal from Afghanistan have created problems for Pakistan.
He said, “The impact of the military equipment left behind by the United States in Afghanistan has caused us headaches, and the entire region will witness its effects.”
He added that the military equipment left by the United States is a matter of concern for the entire region.
He also mentioned that weapons left behind by NATO have been used in terrorist attacks in Pakistan. “We wanted to see a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan.”
Pakistani authorities have repeatedly accused the Taliban of supporting terrorist groups like the TTP (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan), although this claim has consistently been denied by the Taliban.
