Local sources from Badakhshan reported that the Taliban have arrested 35 people from Badakhshan province and transferred them to Kabul in the last three days.
The sources added that these people are members of the security forces, government employees, foreign institutions, and social activists who were arrested by the Taliban.
Local people said that a group of 100 masked Taliban went to Badakhshan and started mass arrests.
This was while the Taliban arrested more than a dozen people from Baghlan, Panjshir, and Kapisa provinces for unknown reasons.
Meanwhile, the recent UNAMA report shows that the Taliban arrested, tortured, and killed more than 800 people after they came to power.
