VOC News: According to reliable sources from Balkh province, 50 to 60 Afghanistani Taliban have recently joined the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan group to fight against Pakistani forces.
Sources have told VOC News that these Taliban are residents of the “Chinzai” area on the outskirts of Taleghan City, the capital of Takhar and Ishkamish provinces.
It is said that this is a growing trend and that more Afghanistani Taliban fighters, especially those with high fighting skills, will join the TTP to fight against the government of Pakistan.
It should be noted that in the past, during the war between the Taliban and the government forces in Afghanistan, the opposite of this process also existed. At that time, Pakistani fighters joined the Afghanistani Taliban in Afghanistan to fight.
Earlier, it was reported that Pakistani authorities complained about the presence of Afghanistani citizens in terrorist attacks in this country. In the latest case, in the July 12 attack on the Zhob military centre in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, the attacker who was killed in the conflict was a resident of Maidan Wardak’s Narkh city.
