According to the report of local sources, the governor of Bamiyan has arrested three Hazaras from Pashte Gharghari, Punjab, at the request of the nomads.
Local sources from Bamyan said on Tuesday, September 12, two people named Mohammad and Awad Danesh from Rashk Pashte Gharghari area were summoned by Sarhadi, governor of the Taliban in Bamyan. Sarhadi asked them to bring their documents with them.
Sources added that when they went to Sarhadi’s office, they were asked to confess that they were handing over their land to the nomads. But these people were not willing to do this.
Sources stated that after the request was rejected, the people mentioned were arrested. This is the third time that the people of this area have been jailed because of the claims of nomads.
Not long ago, the Taliban border governor for Bamyan, at the request of the nomads, arrested five residents of Pashte Gharghari for not handing over their lands to them.
